Types of Skin
It is important for you to pick a face cleanser that matches your skin type.
We all have different skin types and therefore how can we all expect to get the same results on the same products. Its just not possible. It doesn't matter how expensive the product. Start by asking yourself questions like these: Do I have oily skin or dry and flaky skin? Do I have sensitive skin?

Oily Skin- Having oily skin can be a blessing or a curse. On the one hand your skin is so well lubricated that your skin will not show signs of aging as much and you will hold on to that younger looking appearance while all your friends are starting to complain about there skin complexion and how it just looks old and tired. So I think it is safe to say you may not even recognize the benefits of having oily skin until later in life. The downside of having oily skin is that typically around puberty, acne starts to set in and it makes fighting acne much harder. Reason being is that most face wash products tend to dry out your skin, thus causing your skin to produce even more oil which then mixes with dead skin cells and bacteria to form the different types of acne. This problem can be even further amplified by living in hot, humid environments.

Dry skin- The majority of the population has dry skin. So it should come as no surprise that most skin care companys tailor fit there products to fit this category of people. Dry skin can be caused by a number of factors but here are a couple: vitamin C deficiency, a deficiency in vitamin A, a dry climate(this is the most typical cause), harsh soaps and cleansers, coffee or other diuretics even medications. Try using moisturizers right after a shower when your skin is still moist. This will trap in the moisture.

Combination Skin- Skin is normal
around the eyes and cheek area. Skin produces excess oil in the T-zone area.
(forehead and nose down to chin.)

Sensitive Skin- Skin is delicate. This type of skin has lost its elasticity. It may also be prone to inflammation and allergic
reaction.

Normal Skin- For those who are lucky enough to have this skin, life is good. Not too dry. Not too oily. Just right.

The Right Face Cleanser
Do your acne breakouts get worse when you are exposed to certain environments like being exposed to the sun for long periods of time or stressful situations. This one is huge. "Am I getting the proper nutrition?" Here is a little understood concept that gets overlooked today. How you look on the outside is a reflection of how you look on the inside. We age from the inside out. The reason you hardly ever here this is because skin care companies want to sell you on a one product cure all mentality. Its easier for them to say: "Just buy our product and all your problems disappear. " The truth is being healthy inside and out is hard work. Most of the time there is more to it than just washing your face with a product. Start by identifying your skin type.
