Do you use bar soaps as facial cleansers? Well you are not alone. Millions of people use this type of skin cleanser every day. Bar soaps are sold as body washes and facial washes and all you have to do is watch a little TV and no doubt you will see a commercial for oil of olay, dove, ivory, irish spring etc. Here is the problem with bar cleansers, many of these products are made with animal fats and chemicals, many of which are known to be toxic. They remove the oils that our skin naturally secretes causing our oil-producing glands to kick into overdrive.
